Welcome to David Harrison Fine Art,
a gallery of original art at affordable prices.
Originally from Tyneside but having relocated to Dorset some 30 odd years ago,
I have all but abandoned my gritty northern landscapes in oils.
Watercolours and the occasional soft pastels do feature in more recent works but the lions share of my paintings are now created using acrylics and often on reclaimed materials with hessian coffee sacks being a current favourite. Subjects now vary from still life and seascapes to portraits and loosely painted figures.
I have no formal training behind me, nor do I possess a fine art degree but I have had significant success recently
by having one of my paintings selected by
The Royal Academy of Arts in London for their Summer Exhibition.
